About

Algorithmic Design Group is interested in topics spanned by computational design and fabrication, geometry processing, physics-based simulation, and robotics. We develop novel algorithms for computational discovery of better performing designs powered by differential geometry and machine learning. These algorithms aim to accelerate the development of new materials with desired performance, facilitate simulation of existing materials and mechanisms, and design dynamic and deformable structures not possible before. The group is led by Professor Mina Konaković Luković.
