Previously, she was a Schmidt Science Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab. She earned her PhD in 2019 in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). She received her MSc and BSc from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mathematics. Her research focuses on computer graphics, computational fabrication, 3D geometry processing, and machine learning, including architectural geometry and the design of programmable materials. He completed his Undergraduate in Computer Science and Engineering from the Military Institute of Science &amp; Technology, Bangladesh. He develops computational methods that integrate differential geometry, physics-based simulation, machine learning, and digital fabrication to co-design structure and behavior in physically realizable systems, enabling new classes of soft robots, deployable mechanisms, and metamaterials. His research focuses on the intersection of computer graphics and artificial intelligence; he uses machine learning techniques to understand, generate, and manipulate 3D shapes. He aims to democratize shape creation. Sean previously obtained his Sc.B. from Brown University. In his free time, he plays ultimate frisbee and guitar, rides (and sometimes builds) his bike, and makes film photographs. His research interests lie at the intersection of Graphics and Fabrication, with a particular focus on bridging digital graphics and real-world applications. His current work explores topics like origami, investigating how techniques in computer graphics can be applied to tangible, real-world designs. His research interests include physically based simulation, generative modeling, Monte Carlo methods, and partial differential equations. He develops new techniques for creating physically sound, functional, and fabricable systems, metamaterials, and robots. Cl\u00e9ment holds an engineering degree from \u00c9cole Polytechnique and a Master of Science from ETH Zurich.
